He will be a Dodger one way or another. He bought a loft in Hollywood this off season to get reading for the move back home.

Not so sure about Barry going to LA. I've heard talk about reuniting him with Rick Peterson in NY. Who could we get in return? Lastings Milledge.

The Nats want him for Livan Hernandez.

Omar doesn't seem to wanna give him up (see Scott Kazmir)

No way the A's would go for Hernandez. He's garbage like Loaiza. I know that Beane has gone after Kazmir before, but his "stock" has risen dramatically since then. He'll command more dough than Barry will in a year or 2.

Im thinking he might actually stay, our new owners arent penny pichers like the old ones.

If it does come down to him getting moved, the mets want him so bad it hurts and have been asking about him for about 18 months. Beane has put the deal of Zito for Milledge and Heilman on the table and says whenever they are ready he will pull the trigger, but not even the mets are dumb enough to fall for that one so how about:

Zito to NY
Milledge or Heilman to FLA
D-Train comes home to OAK.

me likey!

D-Train for Zito maybe. I wouldnt give him away for nothing though, need to get something good, or some good prospects.

Why wouldn't the Mets just deal with the Marlins directly? Willis for Milledge.

I've wondered that myself... I also think that D-train is a bit overrated. I used to love the guy... But let's face it- hitters are figuring out his delivery.
