Smokey Joe Wood's career began in 1908. Cy Young's lasted until 1911. Wood died on July 27, 1985, aged 95.
I have a feeling someone could have outlived Joe Wood...

Died in 1998 at the age of 107!
I don't know if this is for sure the answer but I'd be shocked if any player lasted longer.

Yes; he made his MLB debut a month before Cy Young retired.
