Extra credit one. The Cubs ended the season with 21 wins in a row to win the pennant. I believe it is still the longest winning streak to end the season.

Correct on EC1, sort of. It isn't the longest streak to end a season (since it didn't last to the last game of the season) but the longest streak without a tie in Major League history.

I'm sure some Tiger fans would remind us that the streak was taken care of in the Series.
But of course the record is for regular season.

The cardinals took care of the streak by beating the Cubs in the last two games of the season.

There are still some questions unanswered.
Still available:
80's - Dickie Noles
90's
00's - Mark Grace? If he's right then the city is San Diego

90's one is really stumping me...I know it has something to do with Opening Day but I'm not sure what. It isn't a winning or losing streak or opening at home or the road but I can't figure out exactly what.
And my guess on EC2 would be a runs scored record, since the 1930 Cubs scored an insane 998 runs, but I couldn't find an NL team that scored higher than that since the 2000's.

The 90's question isn't a stat question or a crowd question, it is more about big names in Cubdom.
And EC2 is sort of about the runs but it isn't the runs specifically I'm talking about.

That is part of it. The total answer is that after 8 years the popular double play combo of Dunston-Sandberg is not starting together. Both Sandberg and Dunston are out with injuries.

Alright I didn't see that you put your answers in the quoted passage, so I did not respond.
But correct on 1980's and 00's.
Dickie Noles played one of his best games against Tom Seaver and Mark Grace should have some fond memories of San Diego.

Alright I'm calling it since nobody is really trying to answer EC2. The correct answer is the 1930 Cubs team set the record for highest slugging percentage for a team and it took the Colorado Rockies playing in Coors Field in 2001 to finally top that team record.
nice going guys you got almost all of these obscure questions right.
