Philly inferiority complex

Why do Philly fans have such an inferiority complex?

the Eagles are a year removed from the super bowl and have been consistently strong
the 76ers were pretty good and have been pretty consistently for a while
the phillies have won at least 86 games the last 3 years
and the flyers, i don't care about hockey, but i hear they're good too

So other than not winning the big one, what's the problem? Philly has some great teams. Why do all the Philly fans think their sports are terrible?

Its quite simple, no title, theyre no good, you dont get an award for being consitent. and P.S. the sixers are garbage.

I don't recall Philly fans thinking the Eagles were terrible when I was living in Philly, nor do I recall the fans thinking the same way about the 76'ers. The phillies weren't considered terrible just underachievers, teams that couldn't finish strong.

Yeah back when the Eagles went to NFC Championship after NFC Championship and lost I never heard they were garbage, just that they'd win it the next year. And when they lost the Superbowl everyone was proud they got there. Same with the Sixers Philly was happy they were there, and really no one thought thye would win, were just happy they were there. I dont think its just here in Philly where people think when they dont win a championship theyre garbage. Look at New York. Plus I live near Philly when I call them garbage It just means they dissapointed me by not winning it all but theyre really not garbage. But really you dont get an award for consistency.
