I want to post a picture on what i think is my signature area, but everytime i try all i get is a link to the picture in question. I am using and around the url - isn't that the correct way to do it?

no, if you want to post an image in your signature, upload the image here (imageshack.us) for free and you'll be able to copy one of the many links they give you.

BTW, it's [url]www.fkjfkfkd.com[/url/]

I think it's that.

You have to use HTML tags to post an image in your sig.

If you folks could seriously limit the size of pictures in signatures, that would be great. It's really a site for baseball discussion, not for large, hi-resolution pictures, most of which take forever to upload if someone is using dial-up.

If you're a graphics whiz, that's fine, but if your sig line takes up more space than your individual posts, I think that doesn't reflect well on the individual forumer.

I personally discourage very large--especially tall--pictures, and Elvis' pic in this thread seems just a tad tall. What's wrong with baseball quotes? Or just links to the pictures?

As Einstein said, "It's all relative." There are many sigs all over the BBF Current Events forum that are even taller than mine, including wilkerson_rulz's, which is right above mine in this thread. :)

But don't worry, Matt. I told Mr. Kitty to remove the offensive pic.

Thanks. I'll take care of wilks privately. :)
