I wonder is camden yards leading in the stats the most homers in the majors? Why didnt we move those dimentions back?

Right now its 333 Right Field 410 Center Field 318 Left Field. Why didnt they consider moving home plate back 5 feet? It would have been 338 Right Field 415 Center Field 323 Left Field.

the old yard was only 309+ down each line. the alleys may be a bit shorter but i don't think it's as much the park as it is the bigger, faster, stronger players thing.

clearly the short right field porch makes it a bit easier, but if you've been to camden those bronzed spots on eutaw street would be out in most parks.

I read in the Sporting News that Great American Ballpark in Cincinnati is currently first in homers, as well as a couple other offensive stats. They only listed GAB and Coors.

At any rate, the opponents seem to homer off Oriole pitchers more than the vice-versa.

It annoyed me watching MASN during the Nationals series that every pop fly even near the warning track the announcers would say "That would be a homerun in Camden" or "I wonder where that would land in Camden"

Come on....EVERYONE knows RFK is a pitchers park but at somepoint you can say, ok...we got your point.
