Nice comeback for the O's today! 3 runs down in the bottom of the ninth and Millar gets the teams first pinch hit of the season to drive In the winning run. The concern now is Daniel Cabrera's arm. He was wild again and left after warming up in the 4th(I think)

Millar really is meant for those kind of situations. That's why Boston let him hang around so much--great for the lockerroom and unphased by pressure. It's just that he's not a starter.
With all these injuries, I've been proven wrong about the team signing Conine and Millar. Neither are world beaters but they've been needed recently. The pitching, however... it's just been less than what we've expected.
Throw Cabrera on the DL if necessary and give a Loewen type a shot for a few games. His walking woes were only overshadowed by those of the Royals staff.

Just remember who they played today? The K.C Royals. If this was against Boston or against the Yanks it would have been something.

That's true Buck. I'm sure the Royals fans felt the same when they swept the Indians. That's what makes the game great! :gt
