I am interpreting this to mean "Which player on the Seattle Pilot roster first appeared in the major leagues?" If that is what you are asking, I believe the answer would be Jim Pagliaroni, who first appeared in a major league game with the Boston Red Sox in August of 1955 at the tender age of 17. He is credited with appearing with one game in 1955 and didn't return to the majors until 1960.

Right behind Pagliaroni is George Brunet who first appeared in the majors in 1956 with the Kansas City Athletics.

I don't think there were any really old guys on that club. How about George Brunet?

Jim Pagliaroni is correct! He must have had a sacrifice fly in his one game as he wasn't credited with an at bat but had an RBI. You and VIBaseball were both right about George Brunet being second. Good research Aa3rt!

Thanks :o These guys were from the era when I was growing up and REALLY lived baseball. I've always had a soft spot for slow footed, weak hitting second string catchers, having been one myself. ;)

Do you remember that the Seattle Pilots only winning record against each team in the AL came at the expense of the beloved Senators?:(

I didn't realize the Pilots only had a winning record against our Nats. That was our good year too! There were some great slow footed second string catchers in those days. You should be proud to have been one. Catching isn't easy! Did you at least crank the occasional longball? These guys did:

Duke Sims
Bob Tillman
Frank Fernandez
Tom Egan
Dave Duncan
Phil Roof
Hal King
Bill Sudakis(Sudzy)
John Boccabella
