This team boggles me. This was a wild card contender by the media, and what happens? (I know it's still early in the season) Injuries crush Tomo Ohka and Ben Sheets (again), Rickie Weeks leads the league in errors (10), and Lee's the Brewers' HR leader. Fielder is great in defense and bat, and if Weeks is making more errors, who should the B's call? Bill Hall. And what's up with Brady Clark?
I'm pointing out concerns with this team. (you can't win them all, but some things need to be done)
Post concerns here.

The fact is, they shouldn't be considered a wild card contender, that's just my wildest dreams right now.
-Weeks main problem has been fielding and will continue to be. The fact is, his bat is more important to have in the lineup.
-I figured Brady Clark was a one year wonder. We should be playing Grabe Gross.
-As for Ohka and Sheets, not much you can do there. Just hope SHeets comes back as soon as he can.

I think the Brewers are at least a year away from putting the preasure of a wild card them. My goal for the season is to improve on last season and the 81-81 finish. I think something around 85,86 wins would be great.
Brady is not our Center Fielder of the future, I like what they've done lately playing Hall and Gross out there in addition to Clark.
As far as the injuries there isn't much you can do to prepare for that. I'm excited to see Dana Eveland pitch for the Crew. My biggest worry is that Sheets could end up like Wood or Prior and spending more time on the DL than pitching.

Try being a Cubs fan. You guys look great compared to us. Hasn't Sheets been on the DL most of his career anyways?

To be honest, if Sheets keeps this up (getting injured all the time), you may have to trade him away for pitchers who are durable. That's the problem with the NL Central, durability. You need iron men and healthy guys on your team.

I wouldn't say so. His big injury at the end of last year was his first real stint on the DL I can remember. I just checked his stats and his rookie year he only started 25 games but the next 3 years he started 34 games each year. Last year was his low with only 22 starts. I don't have the time to look it up now, but I seem to remember he was near the top of the league in innings pitched during that 3 year run of 34 starts.

Listen here, if you were a die hard serious Milwaukee Brewers fan, you would still go for them even when they are down. To me, you sound like one of those fans who like the Brewers only when they are winning, kind of like a jump on the bandwagon type of fan. I am only 21 years old, and I have been a Brewer fan my whole life, with wins or with losses, they are still my team! Injuries happen to everyone, so get over it. The Milwaukee Brewers are NOT a let down team, they are real close to 3rd place right now..don't you see that? Only one game behind the Astros! THEY WILL TURN IT UP!
