The Royals have received permission to interview Dayton Moore, a Braves official, in connection to the promise by owner David Glass to enact "significant changes" within the club's front office. The Star has learned from multiple sources that Glass spent Wednesday in Atlanta, presumably to discuss the possibility of hiring Moore to replace Allard Baird as the Royals' general manager and to spearhead an overhaul in the club's front office. -- Kansas City Star
