We're well on pace to break the NL season record for home runs allowed in a single season. Noting that we don't play in Coors field, this would be a considerable achievement. Pass the Tylenol...

You know, Coors Field humidifies their baseballs making the ball travel less.

I didn't know that. Why? To make them soggier? Heavier? Why don't we try that at home when Claussen or Williams pitch?;)

The first time I was there, I thought I'd arrived at a little league park by accident.

Is it any wonder we call it the Great American Shoe Box? :ughh

Wasn't one of the reasons we traded Casey for Williams was because Williams was a sinkerball pitcher who could induce a lot of groundball outs -- assuming the left side of the infield doesn't throw the ball into the dugout, the stands, or the state of Indiana? :grouchy

if you hit a ball in the air, it will catch one of the many jetstreams in the park.

however, while the park gives up home runs at a high rate (which may be an illusion given the Reds pitchers and lineup), it does massively suppress singles and doubles.
