Did this team turn a corner or did we just take advantage of a even weaker team?

LA has beaten MIL 25 out of the last 33 games. It just happens. Remember that 2002 game against the Brew Crew four years ago.

Green's four bombs? We own the Pirates also but they ended up winning the series.

I'm reserving judgement. This coming week will tell if they've turned a corner of sorts, but we do own Milwaukee, like the Padres have owned us.

Some signs were shown by the offense that the slump is ending. But at least we are in a better position than the Angels

We need more consistant support from the bullpen. Bats looking solid with guys staying healthy. But you need solid relief pitching to win the division. We can't keep having to score 9 runs to win a ballgame and expect to finish much higher than a .500 team.
What to do about the pitching? Cararra? Will Gagne be the same pitcher? Perez?
Pitching will tell me if we've turned the corner yet and it's too early to tell.

Last two nights that has been the story. What should happen is for Colleti to trade some of the loose pieces for a pitcher.

A week after the Brewers sweep the Blue won 4 out of 6 against Houston and the hated ones I have to say we are out of the mini-slump and finally looking to make a run at 1st.

We're 2 games behind the second-place Rockies and 3 behind the white-hot Padres. I say we can make a run for first by the end of the month.

A sweep of the Colorado would be nice but I would take 2 out of 3
