Quick question: can someone tell me what the Tigers all-time winning streak record is? I can't seem to find it yet, although I've certainly tried. Thanks in advance.

It will be lots of drudgery, but you can get it at http://www.baseball-reference.com/ by going to the "Teams" section year-by-year. As a lark, I found that the 1934 Tigers had a 14-game winning streak.

Good luck on the other 103 seasons. I wouldn't look in 2003...

Thanks for the reply. I had been there, but wasn't really looking forward to going year-by-year. I was hoping there was an easier way, maybe a site that already has that kind of stuff. I'm trying to find out for my uncle, who's stuck with the team (along with me) through all the crappy years and is now getting a payoff. He thinks they could set a new mark, but doesn't even know the current mark. I'll be sure to post my result here if/when I find it.

I found another 14-game winning streak in 1909. I checked all the good to excellent teams - about the top 20, since they'd be more likely to have a long winning streak. My bet is that 14 is the record.
