Obviously, anyone dying at age 18 is very sad, but it seems like there is a lot to this story that we weren't covered in the story.

University of Nevada pitcher Steve Masten died Tuesday as the result of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, the Washoe County Sheriff's Office said Wednesday. He was 18.
Sheriff's deputies arrived at Masten's home in the Spanish Springs area of Sparks, a Reno suburb, on Monday and found Masten had been shot. He was taken to Washoe Medical Center, where he died Tuesday, the sheriff's office said.
