April 25th is the day when Rick Monday, now a Dodgers' broadcaster, while playing for the Cubs saved the American Flag from two foolish fans at the Ravine. The next season he joined the Dodgers and has been with the organization since.
Here is to the former Marine Reserve, a good ballplayer and great American....Rick Monday. BTW, Monday still has that flag and will not sell it. :clapping

Miller and Farr from "West Coast Bias" mentioned the $1M offer for the flag, and Monday refused to sell it. Congrats to Monday.

He is a good guy....I'll give him a pass. Isn't that why is airtime was reduced a while back?
