I tend to follow the Rockies pretty closely.
But if you mean Rockies active fans that post in this forum I would wager not :laugh Maybe I'll start posting game results similar to the way its done over the Braves forum.

I was a big Ty Van Burkleo fan when he played for the Rockies in 95'. Roger Bailey was always exciting on the mound.......

Although being born and raised in Mass and being a die hard Red Sox fans...i like the Rockie for my national league team. I am in the Air Force and was stationed at Lowry in 1990 and the Air Force Academy as a drill instructor 2002-2004 and would love to retire in Colorado. Maybe i will start posting here more often.

I am a Red Sox fan currently living in Denver. I love going to Rockies games and have adopted them as my favorite NL team. As far as Rockies fans go, they're a far cry from the likes of Cubs, Yankees, Red Sox, Cardinals, etc. They're pretty passive, IMO. I routinely see fans show up late and leave early. Put it this way--they need one of those jumbotron prompts to make noise! Coors Field is a great place to see a game, the team is doing ok, but their fans leave something to be desired. JMO.

I think they are just more of a football and hockey town. My impression of Denver is if you win, then they are interested. If you suck, then, well there is really no interest. I thought they had some good crowds when they first started out. They also had some pretty good players (Dante, Walker, Castillo). I just think baseball in that region is fairly young

To get a gauge on what teams don't have regular posters just check forums that still have The Commissioner as their Mod. Heck, when I came here in 2002 Commish was still the mod of the Braves forum just shows how a little posting in a forum can change how many people come. I think there aren't any active Rockie fans bcecause this is still a fairly new team and they don't have a fan base like the Red Sox or Yankees. It's only been 13 years of existence for the Rockies and Marlins, 8 for the D-Rays and D-Backs, so you really can't expect hundreds of posters for those teams. With time we'll see more fans of those teams.

I'm 54 and grew up in Colorado. I never have ran into one other soul that has tried to listen to or watch every Rockie game. I know that they are out there somewhere. I've often wondered how it would be to live in a City like Boston or New York where there are thousands of diehard baseball fans year around. Look at the posts in New York compared to here. Wouldn't that be a great atmosphere to live in.
