Which team do you think currently has a bad hitting coach? Well, I'm going to say Hal McRae isn't that great of a hitting coach in my opinion. He was fired from the Phillies after their offense wasn't that great, and I think this could happen to him with the Cardinals, because he's not really helping Jim Edmonds in terms of hitting, instead he's making him strike out or some other event.

If we had Wade Boggs as the Cardinals' hitting coach, they'd be better offensively. This isn't a rant on how bad Hal McRae is of a hitting coach, but to see how the current hitting coach of our team is doing. If the Cardinals could hit the long ball a bit more often, then we'd not be the pitching team we have been last year. In fact, I'm more worried about Edmonds' ineptitude than with our hitting coach.
