Better get it quick. Last time Ohfor posted this, an admin took it down as he felt it was blatant advertising - despite me responding to him that it was no different than Steve's contact info being posted.

Seems to me since it's not being posted by someone with a relationship to Dixon it's not advertising.

Mark ...your spam/ promotion per post ratio going back 4 years is the highest on any website I have ever been
That is a fact....Given some time Ohfer could overtake you
Someone posted to you recently..." glad to see your working" after a recommendation by you to join or buy .
What does that mean?

I'm not disputing you, just the reaction of the board management.

You are mixing your quotes. There was a "glad to see Kristen Rivera is still playing" and there was an "I see you working". The latter had to do with recruiting for a certain university. I make zip out of anything to do with baseball or softball. It's only a money drain. But it's a pleasure.
I do try to steer parents and young hitters away from bad info and toward good info. Since I have no financial interest and no guru sells anything of mine on his website, I can be brutally honest about whatever I want. My complaint with you is not that you don't hammer the guy who sells a bunch of your stuff, it's that you promoted yourself to teacher before you were ready IMO.
As to Dixon, I've never spoken to the man.

If I became a teacher too quickly ( true for anybody coaching) then how did you qualify to critique the available material and personel to make the constant recommendations of training systems for other peoples kids.
Now how do you know you have done the right thing by them all the time ?
I fail to see any difference.

The difference is Mark ALWAYS, ALWAYS says "compare anything you read or hear to video of the best hitters/pitchers in the world...then make up your own mind". I'm paraphrasing a little. But the sentiment is dead on.
Getting back to Dixon, I'd be interested in your feelings about Dixon's idea of "Lift and Travel" It seems to me that his premise cannot be applied UNLESS you stride. I am having difficulty figuring out how to translate the travel part if you don't stride.
Let me know.

Just don't post a vertical bat hitter and compare that or there will be a reality/ perception gap.

I read it but failed to see anything different than what has been said like "coil as you stride to hit".
If there was a revelation there then what was it? My theory is that there has to be a new source to site about pelvic action to certain distance people from Nyman. I think the old Dixon books make a perfect backdrop to make the split. Thats fine.
Cannot use Bobby Jones because they do not play thus hate golf. Too bad..it is more descriptive.

woggy,
Did I try to sell you or did I suggest a way to get your son to use his bottom hand in pressure situations? I said I will send clips to Sandman this week.
I never thought much was wrong with his swing except weight shift and hand set. I would sure pick him on my team for what I think he could be

Donny i have nothing against you personally,No I don't like your HBH because I think it devolops a pause and tends to keep you waiting on the front foot,,BUT that is neither here nor there.YES donny you have given me some good tips and you are an asset to the board.I'm GLAD you are posting clips this week.Hopefully it will make others more civil in the way they treat you..:)

Maybe I can clear that up as well. If the arm action and barrel load is present it synchs much better. If you add barrel load and weight transfer and hit the ball on the ride you best be quick..there is no dead space.
If you work with 8 year olds with loopy pitching and limited reflexes you need the Youth Ball plastic popper that impacts the ball up and hit the ball near the crest of a moderately high ball position. People set the ball height way too high at times.
Like anything...it is using it and knowing what to do with it.
If this post makes it five minutes then Ofher must be in surgery or something
