Claimed off waivers by the Sox. It wasn't much of a surprise to me, however.

I knew he wasn't going to finish the season in LA, as the signing of Nomar and re-signing of Saenz pretty much sealed Choi's fate.

Seems like the Dodgers could have been able to trade him for a little something rather than just cut him loose.

They should of kept Choi in case Garciaparra got injured (AGAIN) and Saenz failed to expectations replacing Nomar.
