bonds homered in his first game swing in five days for his 4th this spring in but 12 at-bats.
he also patrolled left field for 6 innings and felt fine afterwards.

Uh, I think "looking good" is underestimating it! I can't think of very many players performing like this under the type of scrutiny he's under. Walking up to the plate after 5 days and going yard on the first pitch they see. Sure, it's still in Spring Training, but one can't help but be impressed.

I'm sure he has a great deal of mental discipline but I also think he lacks the integrity required to make anyone feel the sort of pressure he's not experiencing right now.
