Is it my imagination or has he been catching some in Clearwater? I didn't think he had caught at all in the minors, at least not at Reading last year. Hell, he can be atrocious behind the plate. Would we know the difference? He sure looks like a major league hitter.

Apparently their front office brand of advanced logic is way beyond us ordinary fans. But it doesn't matter. They only way these kids will move Sal "They wanted a veteran catcher so they signed me becuase I was the oldest guy they could find" Fasano is if someone slips some 'roids in his redbull so they can open up that roster spot to someone with a future.

...so they can open up that roster spot to someone with a future.
What's a future?
How do you pronounce it?
Could you use it in another Phillies sentence?

lol Ed

As for Robinson...I don't think he looks like a major league hitter

That non roster invitee sure looks good as does Bourn who needs another year in the minors

I hope Coste makes the squad

I think Bourne was already optioned to Scranton.
What's a future?

as in:
The Phillies have no playoff hopes in the immediate future

yea Bourn needs some time...but his style of play and the way he hit the ball despite his BA, just showed to me at least...he has what it takes

Chris is 26? I mean there comes a time when you get tagged with the career minor leaguer tag and he is coming close

Here's the stunner the average age of Phillies minor leaguers is 29 for the mitts, I have it posted in the Barstool but I'm pretty sure it was hideous old...so to them Bourn still needs 3 years of seasoning...

Yea when I was editing my minor leaguers in the AWESOME Playstation 2 game MLB: The Show

I saw that the ages of the minor leaguers in AA Reading was at average about 27...Gheesh...they have a 33 yr old P IIRC as well

Makes me happy with Gillick getting Gio Gonzalez and Haigwood (Sp?) in the minors

Yeah despite not being thrilled with Gillick's hand sitting through free agency and wasting money outright on guys like Fasano, the Nez's and such when they have younger guys they could bring up, I liked that trade and hope he cleans house in the minor league system as quick as he can. What good are 30 yr. old minor leaguers?

What good are 30 yr. old minor leaguers?I guess they feel the need to stock up on veterans in the minors the same as they do on the big club, for their clubhouse presence...

Is that presence or aroma from their visibly decaying skills?

Is that presence or aroma from their visibly decaying skills? Both. I think young minor leaguers need to be shown good examples of what they do not want to become.
