I'm watching the Venezuela vs. Puerto Rico game right now and noticed Javy Lopez is having a great WBC. He entered the game 4-9 and early on showed me surprising nimbleness at 1B! If he can translate this to the MLB season, our move to get Hernandez and start Lopez at first looks great.
Have any other Orioles caught anyone's eye in the WBC, one way or the other?

Bedard pitched very well in his only start for Team Canada against South Africa. Went four innings and struck out six batters.
