--The 1961 Phillies were one of three teams selected as designated "doormats" for the first three seasons of our league. Their roster was exempted from the draft and will be kept intact for the 1961-63 seasons. They will be disbanded in favor of an expansion team in 1964. Anybody interested in joining our league as an expansion owner please PM me.
