Jim thome is a huge part in this season, if he cant come through what will it mean to the sox. So my question to you is who will step up if thome falls down?

I personaly think that if thome falls which he probly wont, it would be Alex Cintron or rob makowiak

I don't think there's anyone who can step up the way they need. If Thome gets hurt, they're always going to have a hole at the DH slot in the lineup, unless they pull of some sort of magical trade.

Our back-up DH right now is Ross Gload. I really don't think that Thome will get hurt but if he does Ross would be the one DHing I think.

They should have resigned Thomas, then this wouldnt be a problem. That is he would ahve to take the backseat to Thome.

the key word was IF.. he probly wont get hurt it was just a question who you think would best fill in his spot
