Anyone read or heard anything about the possibility of the White Sox signing Hideo Nomo to a minor-league deal yet?
I've been hearing stuff about Nomo maybe signing the last couple of days now.Any info would be greatly be appreciated.

This was a small article in Thursday's Daily Herald. "The White Sox are" got cut off from the article if you notice that the article is cut off. Nomo sure could add even more insurance, but I really think he's unneeded. It would be great having him in our organization, but I think he'd be better in an organization that could actually use him.

I think Nomo's done. I mean, 7.24 ERA last year, and this year he will be another year older? Maybe in relief, but even that seems pretty questionable.

I am assuming he signed.

Just a minor league deal. It's a real longshot at best that he makes the trip north.
