(the following is fictional)

"All of this pressure from the media and fans about the steroids and breaking Hank's record and my HOF status ,has gotten to me. I've realized I've always been a woman trapped in a man's body, and I had to let ME out or I would die! So this is the new me, you can call it a midlife crisis (aand you would probably be right) or whatever but THIS IS the new ....Bonita Bonds"

-Barry "AKA. Bonita" Bonds

now I'm supposed to go to sleep with that image in my head? It's good that I have multiple photos of Jason Varitek.

UG-LY. Uglier than Randy Johnson ugly.

Please, someone teach him to put his legs together. (Shudder)

We females should sue for defamation of gender. We look much better in jeans T-shirt and a baseball cap than he wearing that yellow thingie. I look better in ...never mind.

Okay, I thought Cheney the hunter would be IT for Halloween this year..

Lol he did it for fun and all of you guys are criticizing him. Not matter if he's fun and in good mood or if he's acting like a bitch he will always be critized.

Someone said he was imitating Paula Abdul. Looks almost like he took the ugliest queen I've ever seen, made a normally attractive (to me, anyway) Serena Williams, then added the biggest arms on a woman I've ever seen. This is top female bodybuilder big.

I'm surprised he could move looking that big. Hope he's in great shape, but he won't be attracting any likely suitors looking like that.

I, for one, think this speaks volumes about Bonds's sense of humor. He looks like he's really enjoying himself and not taking himself oh so seriously as a lot of people have been led to believe.

He knew it would be recorded by every media source in the southwest and went over the top in biggest way possible- and it worked!

He went all out in the skit: hair, clothes, mannerisms, even throwing in a "call me" in as well. Simply hilarious!

He wasn't even the funniest person there, the rookies were much funnier than Bonds. They deserve more notoriety than Bonds.

I agree... this just cracks me up to no end. :laugh :laugh Makes me think of the old Flip Wilson show when he dressed up as "Geraldine" - "What you see is what you get!" :laugh :laugh

Remember when Jeter, Wells and Cone dressed up in drag for a SNL skit a few years ago? :p :laugh

(Actually, "Bonita" is prettier than most of the high-society women I see every day in my store.... )

At least Flip played it off well. "She" also had a boyfriend named "Killer" to protect "her". :D

I couldn't find a pic of the 2002 thing where Jeter hosted. However, I found this pic of Mrs Wells, Cone and Jeter (note the unshaven "Mrs" Wells): :p

To my knowledge, he was the most famous man in drag, long before queens like Boy George, Lipsinka (some guy in NYC) and others arrived on the scene (villagevoice.com carries the NYC scene on that).

Please note that he also didn't have two tree trunks tied together that were called legs, nor two wooden barrels as a chest, nor arms the size of firemen's legs, unlike Barry! :D

SNL must like those men in drag things. Heck, even #1 Yankee fan, Rudy Giuliani has done a "Rudia" thing there as well. :p
