So I was wondering what you guys think the opening day roster for the Braves will be?

Starting Lineup

1B - Adam LaRoche
2B - Marcus Giles
SS - Edgar Renteria
3B - Chipper Jones
LF - Ryan Langerhans
CF - Andruw Jones
RF - Jeff Francoeur

Rotation

1 - Tim Hudson (An article on AtlantaBraves.com said Tim Hudson will be the #1 starter not Smoltz)
2 - John Smoltz
3 - John Thomson
4 - Horacio Ramirez
5 - Jorge Sosa

Bullpen

LR - Kyle Davies
MR - Joey Devine
MR - Oscar Villarreal
MR - Anthony Lerew (I think Lerew or Boyer will eventually get the closer's job.)
MR - Macay McBride
SM - Blaine Boyer
CL - Chris Reitsma

Bench

Todd Pratt

I think the Braves will carry 12 pitchers mainly because they have a bench that have guys that can play a large amount of positions. Also after last year I think they want to have many people in the bullpen in case a repeat of last year happens again. So what do you guys think Agree? Disagree? I want to know what the Braves fans think Bobby will do with the roster this year.

I agree with PureBaseballFan's roster except I would switch Sosa and Davies, I think unless Davies has a bad spring or Sosa has a terrific one that Davies will open the season as the 5th starter, even with Sosa season last year.

KingJ why would we trade him?

1. He isn't worth enough alone to upgrade our bullpen. (The majority of the teams out there will want Salty, James, or some other good prospect.)

2. The Braves already have enough people trying out for their bullpen to really have a need to go out there and look around for one more person to compete for a bullpen spot.
