Watching channels like sportsnet and the score, they have been saying that maybe some players will not like the playing time they get with molina, glaus and other big names moving in. You guys think thats a problem?

No it wont be a problem. They were talking to Hinske about him possibly splitting time with Rios in right and he did'nt seem to be angry about it or anything. The only other guy whose playing time will be effected is Zaun who is dissappointed but he is a good guy and will get some time.

Guess it depends on how much they are winning during the season.

I don't think it will be a big problem. I think Hillenbrand is upset about being the DH, but he isn't going "George Bell" about it. Zaun is upset, but won't let it affect the team. Cattalanotto (sp) and Johnson have been platooning for years now and as for Rios/Hinske, they will platoon until one proves that they deserve to be the full-time starter at that position.

It shouldn't be a huge problem i don't think. The only one worth worrying about is possibly Hillenbrand but JP will trade him before it gets out of hand if he starts to wine. We don't have any Milton Bradley-type egos so I think we should be fine. And like Paulmcall said, if we are winning games, we will be fine.

It seems to me that JP has been fairly careful about avoiding big ego players that are a cancer to a clubhouse. I agree with Paulmcall on this one; we're only going to see any potential problems escalate if the team isn't winning.

Haha...Good one bluejaysfan. "Jorge" was quite a character wasn't he?

Hillenbrand isn't exactly thrilled with being the permanent DH, but did express his desire to remain with the Blue Jays no matter what. He likes what he sees in the team and wants to do his part to contribute.

I love this sig Mike. Women can be so narrow minded! :D

I don't see it as a big problem either. There should be some good, spirited competition at a couple of positions and I think Hillenbrand and Hinske should get plenty of ABs between DH, RF and maybe an occassional start at third. Zaun is better as a backup option.
