Baker that bad?

I know all of us have been razzing on Baker for quite some time now and I wondered, does Baker deserve it? In the last 3 years in which Baker has been here we put together a .527 winning percentage with 1 playoff appearence. In the 3 years before Baker was here, 2000, 2001 and 2002 we put together a .453 winning percentage w/o any playoff appearences. Looking at that Baker must have done something right to rise up our winning percentage 74 points. I do admit I bag on him a lot but looking now I dont know why.
