What he actually got was a $2.5 million raise from last year which now sets the bar for those with similar achievements at his age and time of service. He's not really a loser here.

Anyway...hopefully we can ship Soriano to the Red Sox or Mets (I doubt any other team will be willing to pay him $10 mil and not move him from 2B).
