I am sure that i am not the only one that noticed Kendall's dramatic decrease in offensive production. His defensive numbers were not great other base stealer's did take advantage of him. Could it just be a change of team and the difficulty of learning other pitchers or just an off year for him. Do you think he can pick up his average for this year?

I think he's capable of hitting .300 again, but I see limited plate appearance for him this year. The thing that gets me is the overall decline in the catcher's production for the A's as a whole. Last year, not one homerun was hit by a catcher. Adam Melhuse did go yard, but he did it as a DH. It's only a matter of time before one of the "young guns" cracks the starting lineup.

Don't forget that frightning season-ending injury he had in 1999 with the Pirates. I'm sure that slowed him down alot.
Man! You could see the bone pop out of his skin, that was terrible!!

This is true- He hasn't been the same since. He's stealing has taken a huge decline.
