Major League "Average" Pitcher

Hi guys,

Maybe there are some above average guys here who can give me some help.

Is anyone aware of a source that would give me an overall major league 'average' pitcher's stats? That is to say if we lumped all MLB pitchers together what kind of 'mean' values would we find? Something that spans at least a full season, preferably more.

You can find seasonal league averages for every season, pitching and hitting at Baseball Reference (www.baseballreference.com). Click on the "leagues" link at the top and then click on each league. Scroll down until you see "league pitching". Here's the link for the 2005 NL:
