You have two options, trade him or use him as a DH.

back up catcher and some time at dh. Dont expect a lot from guys who are at the tail end of their career.

Pay him a whole lot of money to take a vacation at OPACY, just like all players do with the O'S now! Then he becomes a free agent and finds new life elsewhere.

If you can trade him, do it. His numbers are declining, as are his fielding skills. I heard he wants an extension, but the O's would have to be crazy to grant that to him.

I say keep him one season, but if he doesn't set the world on fire, trade him in july for a frontline starter
