I get to watch and listen on the internet and XM Radio, so my reception in Alabama is always perfect.
For the rest of you...
Good Articles.

Probably not, unless the Aurora Borealis, are really strong. :crazy The "listen on-line works pretty well though and it is still free.

You won't be able to listen to Nats games online for free. MLB took care of that when they started charging to listen to games a few years ago.

wilkerson_rulz-May I suggest you see if you can pick up WTOP-AM (1500 MHz) in your house now? The higher you can get in the house the better off you will be. If the house has aluminum siding you may need to be very near a window. Use a good quality AM receiver. I won't bore you with a dissertation on radio theory here, except to say that AM radio waves travel further after the sun goes down. Additionally, some radio stations may operate on the same frequencies but are restricted to daylight operations. In the summer, AM radio is also interfered with by static and thunderstorms. Once the regular season starts keep track of your local sunset in Montreal and when WTOP starts coming in.

I seem to remember that the Nats had an interest in him, but there would have been issues around his getting a work visa.

In all due fairness, I think they actually considered bringing in Elliot Price or other Expo broadcasters, but visa problems prevented them from working in the United States.

The buzz around Montreal was that 'Vise Problems' were a convenient excuse. Nats Management wanted to start fresh.

I like Elliot, he was a good dynamic announcer, too bad he had VISA problems.
I also LOVE the Team 990, that's all I listen to
I like Picard, Melnick and occasionally Morency or Sean Starr.
P.J. Stock has a great show.
