Good signing in my opinion. He was really starting to come into his own at the plate around the end of the season. I hope it carries over to this year :)

I think Bowden is fearing another injury plagued season by the team and wants to be prepared for it with good position players on the bench that could replace all 8 guys on the field at once if they go down.
