Best Cubs Game You've Seen

I wanted to know what the best Cubs game you have seen in person was. Not necessarily at Wrigley, could be anywhere (I know some of us aren't very close to Chicago *cough* Hubster *cough*).

For me, it was September 13, 1998. The Cubs won 11-10, but that wasn't the best part. Sammy Sosa hit HRs #61 and 62 to tie and break Roger Maris's single season homerun record (although McGwire had done it already). I thought I was going to go deaf; I've never heard anything as loud as the cheering that day.

I don't remember the exact date, but it was in 2001 and the Cubs beat the Dodgers 20-1. How in the world did Julian Tavarez only give up 1 run? :eek:

Aug. 12, 2004. Cubs lose 5-4 in 10 innings to San Diego. Thrilling game though, Nomar hit a go ahead homer late but then the pen struck.

Kerry Wood/Roger Clemens Matchup in 2003. wow was that a good game. nailbiting and when Remlinger struck out Giambi, that was just nuts.

And what made it even better was that a group of like 6 of us almost got into a brawl with some Skankee Fans. They got thrown out in the 9th inning. :)
