What is your favorite player?

It was a hard choice between Brooks and Frank. But the O's were my favorite AL team before Frank arrived, and Brooks was the star. You're missing my favorite Oriole pitcher though - Dave McNally.

I voted for Brooks.
Kripler, McNally pitched 14 season, 13 in Baltimore, was a three time All-Star, and won 20+ games for the team for four straight seasons. Here are his complete stats: http://www.baseball-almanac.com/players/player.php?p=mcnalda01

Bigbie. Incredibly underrated.
My favorite player used to be Mike Mussina... but after his move I've seen the light and left him for greener pastures.
I was actually a big fan of Randy Milligan, who played mostly 1B in Baltimore from '89-'93. Not that he was a world-beater, I just liked him and he was a nice guy from my experience. I think there was a connection with the "Moose" nickname that led me to Mussina. I suppose not all moose are made of the same stuff.

what helps my decision brooks > cal is that brooks' teams won an average of 10 game more per year than ripkens' - but balto is lucky to have two fine gentlemen - and a third if you count unitas

Where is Jim Palmer
He was pitcher or 3rd I think.
Palmer was a pitcher for the team. Here's his Hall of Fame page. (http://www.baseballhalloffame.org/hofers_and_honorees/hofer_bios/palmer_jim.htm)
He's also currently an announcer for local programming and I'd say a good one, even if he thinks rather highly of himself.

he's been traded but you can't beat em'. He'll probably be better than Conine or Burnitz and was better than Byrnes and cheaper then all of them! Plus its Larry Bigbie:D
