Me too!

I remember the Big A used to use Guildens (as well as yellow) and I loved it. I'm not a big fan of plain yellow mustard and prefer deli and dijon mustard. But yellow mustard is better than no mustard. ;)

Yellow is fine for me, as it won't overpower the taste of the dog, the problem with so many "flavored" mustards.

I couldn't agree more. Cleveland has their own brand of Stadium Mustard, and it is AWESOME! It's made by a company called Bertman's Foods, and it's been served at Cleveland sporting events for over fifty years now. Here in Cincy, we have Guilden's, which isn't bad.

I agree! No one puts ketchup on a hot dog! Ketchup is for burgers and dipping fries but never on a hot dog.

...yellow mustard is better than no mustard. ;)

I personally would take nothing over the yellow. I voted for Gulden's, which is great for dogs. I love Grey Poupon on ham sandwiches and other food, but it's too chi-chi for a stadium dog.

For a while Shea had "dijonnaise" -- fine for a ham sandwich, but mayo even more than ketchup has no d**n place on a hot dog.

Cleveland Stadium Mustard is the best. My brother-in-law lives in Cleveland, and whenever he visits he brings me a jar, just great. Ketchup does not belong on Hot Dogs, mustard does not belong on hamburgers. There has to be some sort of law against it.

Agreed that ketchup [or catsup, somebody explain that?] doesn't belong on a dog or brat, but I can do ketchup, catsup on a burger or mustard. Depends on my mood. I rarely get a burger at the ballpark, generally the meat is overdone and dried out.

I would never, ever put sourcrout on a hot dog.
Sauerkraut, however, is an entirely different story. Gives a nice, sort of crunchy additional texture to the dog. And the mustard, of course.

Tropicana Fiels started selling Hebrew National this year, they were awesome, even at $4.00. Maybe our new owners can lower the price a little.

I prefer spicy brown mustard, which I believe is closest to Gulden's. I use a local store brand which is excellent. But it really depends on how I feel. At the park, I normally use just the mustard available, but will take brown if available. At home, I use either: mustard/sauerkraut, or mustard/relish/ketchup. My wife will only use ketchup on a dog, so she and runningshoes53 would make a fine pair.;)

BTW, I have had the mustard at Cleveland, and it is excellent. Didn't know you could buy it, though.

Very common in Mexico to put mayonaise on hot dogs, and most of those hot dog vendors in those cart do oven serve hot dogs, wrapped in bacon, with mayo here in So Cal.

I have trouble comprehending why someone would take the perfect ballpark food the Hot Dog, and put anything on it besides the perfect Hot Dog condiment, mustard. If you are able to get Cleveland Stadium mustard, you then have the ultimate Hot Dog.

But,when I'm at Sox Park(that's what the locals call US Cellular Field),I only put ketchup on a hamburger,as Chicago city code #842-a243 strictly forbids putting ketchup on hot dogs.

As for hot dogs, sometimes I think certain regions fix them up differently and you know, to each his own. Just think, and American staple as a hot dog that now has become a food of the world. You can go to Guadaljara and find the numerous hot dog vendors in those carts and you can't find a "taco."
