Such as Mariano Rivera's enter sandman intro, what would your intro. at bat music be?

Intro: ACDC Hells Bells

I'd probably go with Stairway To Heaven by Led Zepplin, but only if I was coming into pitch.

I really like "enter sandman" but if I couldn't use that cause its Mariano's, then prolly fight fire with fire. It starts like funny and ghei, but turns out to be pretty hardcore.

Coulda' sworn there was a previous thread on this subject, but darned if I can find it. I would have them alternate with the Texas Aggie War Hymn and Copland's Fanfare for the Common Man.

NOTE: Thread moved to the 'arts & literature' forum.

The "Human Rain Delay" Mike Hargrove should have come to the plate when in his playing days to Don MacLean's "American Pie". That song runs about 9 minutes, just slightly shorter than it took Hargrove to get to the batters box.

My favorite intro music was Albert Belle's.

Back when I was a closer, they always played "Dream On" when I came in from the pen. They always tell you "don't hear the crowd or the music, blank it out"...thats crap. Nobody can do that hehehe...especially in Boston.

"I Love LA" by Randy Newman

I have loved that song my whole life with regards to sports.

If I didn't use that one, it would be "Right Now" by Van Halen or "Master of Puppets" by Metallica. There are actually a lot of great Metallica songs I'd like to use. I'd find it hard also not to use "Welcome to the Jungle" by GNR after hearing how awesome it sounds when Gagne comes out to it.

Actually I just thought of the greatest song to come out to: "Real American" by Rick Derringer. I'd feel instantly more powerful if I entered to that song.

"The Raiders" which followed John Facenda's "The Autumn Wind" by Sam Spence from the old NFL highlight films.
