The ONLY Brooklyn Dodger that wore #25 was Bob (Bobo) Milliken...and that was in the early 1950's.

According to a Brooklyn Dodgers site that I have found, there would be 13 players. He was one of them.

Perhaps I didn't word it correctly, but my reference is only to the 1950's (OUR 1950's), yr. I do not remember anyone else in that time frame wearing #25.

I missed your Chris van Cuyk answer.
So three Brooklyn Dodgers remain unanswered.
I'll give a hint:1949 (2x) and 1945

I couldn't find out who wore number 25 but it raised a question that you guys and gals could answer very easily. Did the Brooklyn Dodgers ever retire a number? My thought is that they didn't retire any till LA. Pew Wee was still playing as well as Duke etc. Just Wondering.

Otho Nicholas and Don Hund wore #25 in 1945.
EDIT: Otho Nicholas is already here.

I believe you are correct about that, SS.
The BROOKLYN Uniform Numbers that have been retired are 1, 4, 19, 32, 39, 42 and 53. With the exception of Jim Gilliam, all were retired WHEN the player was elected to the HOF, which was Dodger policy at that time.

Jackie, I don't have Mickey Owen on my 1949 listing.....where did you pick that info up?
On OUR 1941 team, Mickey wore #10.

Let's see, what do we have...
I missed Otho Nitcholas so that is right as well.
But Don Lund and Mickey Owen are right too.
You all didn't mention Elmer Sexauer in 1949.
Shall I post another trivia question like this? I think it's fun to test your Brooklyn Dodgers knowledge.

My list shows Elmer Sexauer wearing #20...and in 1948, unless, he showed up for ST in 1949, wore #25, and never made the team. I don't show him in 1949.
As an aside, every time I hear his name I think of the joke attached to him....."Do you have a sexauer here"?...."Are you kidding, we don't even have a coffee break"!
But, I still don't show Mickey Owen in 1949. Someone is going to have enlighten me on this one.

Most of these list contradict each other, in 1949, Mickey Owen was a coach, or something with us, but I won't swear to it, then he signed with the Cubs.
