Yesterday against the Rangers, Jim Thome hit his 427th career homerun, passing Billy Williams for 32nd all time.

Yesterday against the Indians, Jim had his 1300th career walk. Thome averages 118 walks per a 162-game season. That's pretty incredible.

P.S. Is it possible for someone to move this thread to the Sox forum?

and why is this in the Phillies thread? He's not on the Phillies anymore you bum, hahaha just kidding, thats sweet, I loved Big Jim when he was in Philly, its just a shame we had another good first baseman who was younger.

Yesterday against the Rangers, Jim Thome walked for the 1303rd career time, passing Luke Appling for 35th all time. And on Monday, he scored his 1200th career run.
