I've noticed that Shawn seems to be grounding out a lot more than usual lately. Has anybody who's been watching the D-Backs noticed that's he's hitting over the ball a lot more or has he just been choosing more bad picthes to swing at lately? How much of a concern should this be?

Not sure how much a concern this is with him. He's known for being a streaky hitter and often goes on his better streaks in the 2nd half.

That's true. I'm just getting impatient wanting him to get on a hot streak real soon now.

Yikes, this is the second consecutive game where Green had a chance to win it for the D'Backs in the bottom of the ninth and couldn't come through. He's usually been a lot more clutch than that. Oh well, at least he didn't ground out tonight.

Grrrrrrr... so far he's 0-2 tonight with, you guessed it, two ground outs.

it shouldnt be a concern beceause the d-backs have and electric offense this year, and plus shawn green is one of the players who gets really hot in a short amount of time

Actually, this season it doesn't seem to be that much of a problem for him. He's been hitting well all year, in spite of finally dipping below .300 for the first time in a long while. He just hasn't been connecting on thr long ball this season.
