I'm reading an excellent book on baseball titles "Big-Time Baseball." The reason why it's so interesting is because it was published in 1961. It's by Ben Olan, a sports writer for the Associated Press and head of the Baseball Statistics Bureau at the time. He writes about some of the greatest all-time records, thrilling stories on the diamond, famous players, and brief segments on some of "today's" stars. Have any of you out there ever heard of or read this book? It's a real gem if you can find it.

My grandfather bought me the book in 1962. I read it everyday (almost to the point of memorization) Unfortunately, I put it on some newspapers and he accidently threw it away in 1964. If I remember correctly the book was paperbound about 8" x 10". The cover was yellowish, the title was written in large thick letters. I believe there was a hyphen between "Big" and "Time". Also, I think it the bottom right hand corner it said "Edited by Ben Olan", and I think it said it was published by the Associated Press.
Inside I believe I remember it saying that as a World series pitcher Babe Ruth was 6-0. Yet I looked it up on some Statistics site and it said 3-0.
Can anyone confirm my memory of the book cover and/or Babe's stats?
Please does anyone know where I can get a copy?????????

eBay currently has some copies. In this day and age, that would seem to be the easiest route.
